Blast-furnace shop 
Blast-furnace shop consists of three blast furnaces of 205, 212 and 260m3. At the present time two furnaces function. The third furnace will undergo a complete overhaul soon.
The first blast furnace of capacity 260 m3 was started up in 1896. In a year the second furnace of 205 m3 was put into operation. And in 1909 the furnace of capacity 212 m3 was started.
Major tasks of the shop:
- production of pig iron for open-hearth plant;
- production of cast iron for casthouse for casting molds and other iron castings;
- production of commercial iron;
- production of granulated slag;
- production of blast-furnace gas.
